Venturi Dilution
The Portable 517 Sanitize/LC Foam Hose Drop Station is a combination foam/sanitizer applicator featuring an all stainless steel cart assembly. It will apply one chemical as foam and another as a sanitizing spray. This venturi injection system uses standard city water pressure (35 - 125 PSI) to draw and blend chemical concentrates into the water streams to create accurately diluted solutions using precision metering tips to control chemical usage. Rich, clinging foam is created by injecting compressed air into the foaming solution to greatly increase volume and coverage ability. The foam is then projected through the discharge hose and fan nozzle at distances up to 12 feet. The sanitizer solution flows through the sanitizer hose and is projected as a fan pattern spray in the lean ratios required for no-rinse sanitizing in food plants.
Key Features
  • Designed to foam and sanitize medium to large areas
  • Projects a medium volume of rich, clinging foam which increases chemical contact time and effectiveness
  • Foaming expands the chemical and reduces over-application by providing visual assurance of coverage
  • Fan pattern foam nozzle for fast coverage (up to 12' range)
  • Covers up to 500 sq ft (46.5 sq m) in 2 minutes
  • Adjustable foam consistency (wet/dry)
  • Dilutes concentrated sanitizers to the lean ratios required for no-rinse applications in food plants
  • Sanitizer is projected as a "flooding spray" in a fan pattern
  • All stainless steel and polypropylene wetted components ensure years of trouble-free performance
  • Available as a wall-mounted unit (#915220)
  • See other city water pressure foamers in Catalog 1

Includes

  • All stainless steel 4-wheel cart with integrated hose rack
  • Non-marking tires with stainless steel swivel casters
  • 2 stainless steel, round, 5 gallon jug racks (square optional)
  • Machined polypropylene foamer and sanitizer bodies
  • Stainless steel inlet and discharge ball valves
  • 20 color-coded precision metering tips to set dilution ratios
