Tank holds RTU chemical solution Tank holds water RTU chemical solution flows through pump Water flows through pump The Pump Fed Foamer produces and projects high quality foam Using water from the pump, the Venturi Foamer dilutes chemical 'on the fly' and produces and projects high quality foam 1 Gallon, Chemical Concentrate Air Pump Operated Portables— The Choice is Yours PRE-DILUTE VENTURI Lafferty 4 •CAT.4 Overview • Chemical concentrate is diluted with water using a proportioning system or by manual mixing. • The pre-diluted (ready-to-use — RTU) chemical solution is dispensed into the portable tank or is stored in a holding tank then transferred to the portable. • An AODD pump draws RTU solution from the holding tank, through the pump, and pressurizes the chemical solution to 25 to 125 PSI. • Using the solution pressure supplied by the pump, a pump fed chemical applicator —foamer or sprayer— projects the chemical solution onto surfaces as foam or spray. Other Details • Operating time between RTU solution refills: 15 to 33 minutes (per 20 gallons of solution) , depending on applicator model • Refill process: Return unit to the designated central dispensing location and refill tank with RTU chemical solution • Change to different chemical: • Remove all chemical solution from tank and thoroughly rinse inside of tank with clean water, then run water through the system to remove chemical residue from tubes, pump and discharge hose. • Refill tank with RTU chemical solution from central dispensing location Perceived Advantages • Concentrated chemical confined to central control area • Dilution ratios controlled by dilution system that dispenses RTU solution Overview • An AODD pump draws water from a holding tank, through the pump, and pressurizes the water to 25 to 125 PSI. • Using the water pressure supplied by the pump, a venturi chemical applicator —foamer or sprayer— draws chemical concentrate from a container and mixes it with the water flow and projects the diluted chemical onto surfaces as foam or spray.
